Glacier hike on Snæfellsjökull – A once-in-a-lifetime experience with stunning views
Snæfellsjökull is one of the most scenic glacier mountains in Iceland. The famous Snæfellsjökull glacier reaches 1450 meters (4757 feet) into the sky from the middle of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. You can easily see the glacier top from more than 100 km (62 miles) away. Everything about this tour is an amazing experience. Even the drive to the magnificent glacier is breath-taking.
On clear days you might be able to look over the north Atlantic sea and see a glimpse of the coast of Greenland on the horizon. On the tour we will be working as a team, only using the strength of our body and mind on this magnificent hike to the top of Snæfellsjökull glacier. This ascend to the top is an extremely rewarding experience with the most amazing view.
