Zipline Adventure in Vík, Iceland

A zipline tour is a fantastic adventure for anyone who loves the thrill of trying something daring yet incredibly safe. The tour includes a hike through a breathtaking river canyon and four zipline rides measuring 120, 240, 30, and 140 meters. The scenery below is stunning, and you’ll get a bird’s-eye view as you soar down the lines.

About this zipline experience in Vík, Iceland

Our ziplines are located by the village of Vík in South Iceland, surrounded by scenic hills and valleys. They are not directly accessible by car, so after we meet at our base, we’ll take a 5-minute drive followed by a moderate 5-minute hike to reach the start platform of the first zipline, called Little Rush. We will provide you with detailed safety instructions and ensure you’re comfortable with what to do on the ride, so you can enjoy the experience to the fullest and remain safe.

Once you're ready, you’ll wait your turn and before you know it, you’ll be flying over the canyon with your heart racing in excitement, enjoying an amazing bird’s-eye view you never imagined possible.

Our second zipline, The Gentle Giant, is located just around the corner from the first one. It’s our longest ride at 240 meters and is often called the most scenic. Once everyone has safely completed the first two ziplines, we’ll take a short hike (about 10 minutes) through the unique rock formations of Grafargil (Grave Canyon) to the next activity, Leap of Faith – our shortest line. We’ll do things a bit differently here, but we won’t spoil the surprise!

Lastly, comes the fourth zipline, which we call Big Rush. It takes you across a beautiful waterfall called Hundafoss (Dog Waterfall). To finish off the experience, we may offer a short hike back to our base if weather allows.
