Clothes: Warm and waterproof clothing is very important even when it is summer. It is very cold on the glacier. Good waterproof hiking shoes are also recommended.
Age limit: 2 years (minimum height: 120 cm / 4 ft) (to be a passenger on a snowmobile)
Included: Snowmobile ride on Vatnajökull, Snowmobile equipment
NB. You must have a valid driver’s license to operate a snowmobile. A standard booking is for 2 people sharing a snowmobile. If you wish ride the snowmobile by yourself or if you are an uneven number of people in your group, click the solo rider box and insert the number of solo riders. If you are and uneven number of participants, you must book solo rider.

Your guide will share fascinating information about glaciers, ice-covered areas and tell you everything you need to know about Vatnajökull glacier. Your questions are of course welcome.

This tour is suitable for both people who have never tried riding a snowmobile and people with experience. Before the tour starts, your guide will give you a quick introduction to the snowmobiles and safety. You will be provided with a helmet and a wind and waterproof overall. Now the fun begins!
