  • Weight limit: 110 kg/240 lbs. (this is for the wellbeing of the horse)

Meet the fantastic & good-tempered Icelandic horse

We welcome you to our stables near Reykjavik and we are happy to introduce you to the friendly Icelandic horse. This tour is Ideal for those who want to experience the wonderful Icelandic horse but are unsure about how they feel about riding a horse. You will learn and get to know some facts about the Icelandic horse, and you can pet the horse. You will also have the possibility to see the different gaits and take some pictures.

This tour is all about getting to know the Icelandic horse in its own homeland Iceland.

Here you will be welcomed to visit our stables, even though you are unsure about how you feel about riding the horse. Come and meet the Icelandic horse! Learn about the unique history of the Icelandic horse that has been a big part of the nation’s heart ever since settlement.

You will get the chance to take part in our daily routine of grooming and caring for the Icelandic horse. You will have plenty of time to interact with horses and take some pictures. Then, for those who feel like it, they are welcome to give riding a try in our paddock. Just remember the Icelandic horse is a very well-tempered and kind horse that you will probably fall in love with.
